Our final skills session was another success. We had a great turnout again with over 70 enthusiastic children willing and eager to learn new skills. We were joined by Alison O’Connell from Sport Birmingham with whom we have forged a successful partnership in 2014/15 with the award of a grant through Satellite Clubs. We thank Alison for the free bottles and bags handed out to all the children at the end of the session. A fitting way to end the season.

The commitment of Coaches and Committee to facilitate these sessions as always was brilliant….a great team effort. It was good to see some of our younger coaches volunteering to be involved as well.

On Saturday 11th July and Sunday 12th July, we are running 2 taster sessions at the Community Games, Wyndley Leisure Centre from 3pm-4pm, aimed at introducing hockey to newcomers. We welcome any assistance for this, particularly from our youngsters. Please email us should you wish to help out.

We can now announce that the Registration for the new season will be on Sunday 6th September, at the club house on Rectory Road, with the first training session at Wyndley on 13th September.
