An opportunity for the club to understand the committee meeting topics that were discussed. Please send any questions to comms@suttoncoldfieldhc.co.uk

Finance update;
- Indoor fees are due, £50 training fee and £50 squad fee.
- Sandra Westbrook (membership secretary) will send an email reminder to relevant members of the club.
- A few missing subscriptions from training only members, captains to follow up.
- Indoor costs weren't covered for early season training because the turn out was too low, review the approach for next season.

Kit;
- Old style missing shirt number 25 with a name sown into it, if anyone has this please can you return it?
- TK got the colour wrong for the jackets, we are chasing them for a date for the correct order to arrive.
- Tracksuit bottoms we are sourcing from a different supplier and will be available soon in Sportology.
- Navy blue training tops we are also sourcing from elsewhere and we will be communicating soon how to order these.
- Teams without face masks will order 2 and charge them back to the club.
- Any captains missing equipment should let the committee know.

Sponsorship;
- Following up a couple of interested partners.
- Creating a package to share with them what the money will go towards and how we will promote their company name.

Social;
- First Ladies club social was a success and raised £130 profit.
- 5th December social is open to the full club.
- Teams will have the opportunity to sell raffle tickets in advance.
- Next year is the 125th anniversary of the men's club and they have lots of good fund-raising ideas which we are looking to support.
- Ladies dinner to be held at Westfield Court this year on the 19th March.
- Annual Gala ball is on Friday the 29th April 2016 at Aston Wood Golf Club.

Club website;
- The Men's club have proposed making the Sutton Coldfield rose red to make it more recognisable to external visitors. Agreement if we also add a pink rose on the other side of the name.
- The Men's club have also proposed upgrading the website package to remove the ads. Agreed that the small increase in price is worthwhile.

Communications update;
- Player interviews from the 1st XI really well received.
- Agree it would be good to extend to the rest of the club and also coaches and umpires.
- We are doing well this year on match reports for most teams and the 1st team are regularly featured in the Sutton Observer - keep it up everyone!

AOB;
- England Hockey have been in contact with us and are keen to support us with club development and we are in conversations with them on the best way to achieve this.
- The poor state of the changing room facilities at Bishop Vesey were discussed and we will be picking it up with the School.

Finally a big thank you to Elaine Burns who stepped on to do the match teas last week when Fiona wasn't available - a great feat!

Date of the next meeting is the 18th January. Let a member of the committee know if you have an agenda item that you think should be discussed.
