Summary of the meeting minutes

Finance & Membership
• Predicting to break even this season versus the positive result last year
• Main difference is in the amount of sponsorship & fundraising achieved so need to try and push this opportunity in the second half of the season
• Thank you to all the captains for great management of match sheets and transfer of money either in person or by BACs
• Reminder to please pay match fees outstanding
• Missing membership from a number of club members, ask captains to have a push at training on Tuesday, a reminder that players who have membership outstanding are not eligible for selection

Sponsorship & fundraising

• Full sponsorship pack is in development and looks good
• Aim to push the match day sponsorships (pitch side banners) this season and launch the full offer at the start of next season as a joint club
• The banners will be displayed at either Wyndley or Vesey on match days
• Easy fundraising account has been created and information on how to use will be shared shortly

Joint club constitution
• Aim is to walk through it at the joint club dinner on the 5th February
• We then need to organise an EGM to approve it
• Review our sponsorship plans and align with the me'ns & juniors on the strategy

Training
• Feedback from the survey for 3s - 7s has been given to coaches to take into consideration for the second half of the season
• Not much response from the 1s & 2s survey on coaching, captains to ask teams again
• Attendance at indoor replacement training was good in January but not very many in December, committee to review whether to run again next season, enquire earlier to try and secure a better time slot

Facilities
• Vesey has been more co-ordinated since the change to SLS and having someone on site
• Showers still not warm and lines need to be looked at, this will be raised with them

Welfare
• Karen attended a time to listen training course in Loughborough
• The take out was that our focus should be on being inclusive as a club and being aware of diversity and how to support the team
• DBS forms have all been completed by captains

Socials
• 10th Feb is the quiz social to be organised by the 3s, 6s & 7s at the club house, pizza & chips worked well last year as food on the night so propose to repeat this with £3 quiz entry and £5 if you want food, 7.30pm meet
• Propose that the team challenge which was postponed from the first half of the season to be re-organised in the summer, captains to ask for volunteers from the 2s & 4s
• Coordinate with a charity old girls game due to take place on the 21st April

Kit
• Members of the 6s & 7s are still awaiting on kit which was ordered from Sportology in October when we agreed to extend the length of the relationship until the end of next season
• If other members of the club have got kit that they are not using that they could give to members of the club who do not have any please bring it to training
• One of the key points of the joint committee is to push forward on a new joint kit deal with the men's & junior's club

Indoor
• Not as much of a success this season, part of the reason was that the opportunity for training was limited for the indoor squad because there was a challenge with facilities
• There was less interest in the general club indoor this year to feed the indoor squad, partly down to the time of outdoor & indoor training
• Focus ahead of next season is on trying to secure facilities and on getting more join up between the indoor team and the committee

AOB
• Masters O45s are in the quarter finals of the cup on the 11th February, would be great to get as much support as possible and there will also be a cake sale to raise money for the club
• Australian visit was a great event, review at the next meeting how the ladies club support this in the future
• 7s are organising a friendly on the 25th April after the season finishes so need to secure a pitch for them
• Opportunity to select a charity for the gala ball to shortly be communicated
• Next meeting Monday 5th March
