Summary of discussion points from this week's meeting

Future league structure

- England hockey have shared 3 proposals for ways to change the league structure which captains & committee have reviewed

- As a club we will feed back our views with a couple of suggestions

- Please ask your captain if you would like to understand more

Game rearrangements

- Following the bad weather the Warwickshire league have agreed to extend the season deadline to the middle of April which means games can be arranged for the 2 weekends following Easter

Upcoming games to support

- This weekend the over 35s are ah home in the Quarter Final against Bedford, 11.30am at Wyndley

- On the 24th March the Ladies 2s will be holding the second part of a ‘Sticks in for cancer’ charity event with Loughborough University, 10am PB at Vesey

Summer league

- We have put in the same number of teams into the Olton and Cannock leagues as last year

- Captains will be collating numbers this weekend for those wanting to play

Pitch hire

- In discussions with the junior club on how best to use the 6-7pm slot on a Tuesday next season

- Solihull school pitches were discovered to be a good alternative to Wyndley and the club are reviewing running some additional training for the 1st team there next season

- Club are exploring opportunities to apply for grants to support pitch hire next season

Kit

- Club shirts are now in stock at Sportology for those wishing to buy them, we will keep the same kit for next season

Socials

- Ladies dinner is on the 17th March and places are still available, captains to collect £15 from those attending this weekend

- Charities chosen for the annual ball and the compare will be revealed soon on social media

- Eli and John have worked together a social calendar for the rest of the season and over the summer, look on social media for more information on how to get involved

- Proposed date for the AGM is Monday the 18th June, TBC

Communications

- Committee reviewing how to better utilise the functionality of pitchero

- Committee are also reviewing the latest GDPR guidelines ahead of rules changing in May and we will communicate out soon to club members on what data is held, how it is held and why
