Safeguarding
• One ongoing welfare case
• Captains are all completing the online training required

Training
• Generally feedback from the captains is quite good
• Thanks to Matt Jones who has been volunteering to support 3s & 4s training
• Some changes to be made in January to give more intensity to parts of training for each team as identified
• There will be a mid-season survey issued this month which will give you a chance to add any comments on what is going well and could be improved at training

Membership
• No outstanding membership payments
• Indoor memberships payment due and to be communicated to relevant players

Finance
• 1s, 2s & 4s match fees being paid centrally is working well
• 3s potentially to move to the central payment from January
• 5s - 7s captains are bank transferring the money which is also working well

Socials
• The money raised for the rugby ticket raffle was split 50/25/25 between the BHF / men's club / ladies club which meant that the quiz night raised £90
• Halloween social was very successful, aimed at juniors but the publicity meant that members of the ladies club brought their kids along which was great
• Christmas social is on the 8th December, info to go out via captains, newsletter, text message & website article. Representatives from men's and ladies teams are planning the event
• Next social will be the team challenge for the ladies club in January
• Men's club are organising a mixed intra-club tournament on the 15th December at Wyndley 1-4pm, open to anyone who is interested

Kit & equipment
• Becky is ordering some replacement goalkeeping kit for the 5s, 6s and 7s
• Updated policy for face masks has been shared with the captains and each team has at least 2 masks, under 18s must wear a mask if they want to defend penalty corners.
• Jon and Becky have gathered some quotes for joint club kit for next season, presenting the proposal to the joint committee meeting at the 11th Feb, proposal is for pink & blue kit for both sides of the club.

Comms
• Newsletter to go out this week with meeting summary, Christmas social, mixed tournament, training times, social dates for next season, let everyone know about the text service for any cancelled training
• Aim to reinstate sending the men’s and ladies’ 1s match reports to the Observer from January

Joint club
• Meetings are taking place and good progress being made
• Joint club committee & captains meal to take place on January 28th

Vets
• This year’s over 45s team is a mix of players from different clubs, for the 2019/20 season we will review whether to enter a mixed team rather than ‘Sutton’
• Thank you to Sue for coordinating & cooking teas on 25/11!

AOB
• Sadly Fiona will no longer be providing her brilliant teas after the end of this season, any suggestions of a replacement welcome!
• Still struggling with the conditions of the pitch & facilities at Wyndley (goals being destroyed, lines requiring painting, showers were not working one weekend, floodlights not adequate) and Vesey (changing rooms smelling of urine, no hot water and showers blocked off, toilet conditions) – this is being picked up at the joint club meetings as payment goes through the men’s club
• Huge thank you to Graham and Becky Batsford for the work that they do at Wyndley to prepare the pitch and facilities for the 1s game, Wyndley have been supportive in providing the requirements on the day
• Also big thank you to Becky B & Becky FH for the work they did in organising & leading the indoor sessions in the first half of the season
