Summary of the committee meeting on Monday 30th October

The Australian under 18 and under 15 teams are visiting the club again for games on the 3rd with members of the ladies club supporting to co-ordination of the event

Kit - next order of TK kit should be arriving at sportology in the next 2 weeks, club are in the process of sourcing new balls & masks

Sponsorship - thank you to all those who have supported the club in getting banner sponsorship to be hung at Wyndley on match days, if you have any other ideas for sponsorship please let Sarah Finnegan know

Welfare - As a club we have completed the safeguarding young people call to action form from England hockey and meet all the requirements, any welfare concerns please contact Karen Slater

Coaching - thank you to all our coaching staff for their focus and creativity so far this season. Captains have collated any concerns and they are being discussed with the coaches to see where we can improve training further, please let your captain know if you have any feedback

Captains - thank you to all the captains for all your hard work in organising the squads this season, great to see that the new captains all seem to be enjoying the role!

Membership - all subs have been paid, thank you. Sandra is in the process of completing the annual club affiliation for England Hockey

Club Indoor - the level of uptake was not high enough to continue beyond the original 6 sessions, from feedback we think the lower uptake was a result of training later on a Tuesday and not putting people into teams, will evaluate at the end of the season whether to repeat next season

Indoor squad - training time planned at Sutton Girls with Mills (Sarah Parkinson-Mills) returning again for the indoor season as the team coach

Finance - agreed that Sunday cup fees should be £5 instead of the Saturday £8 match fee as training costs are already covered on the Saturday, this is not the case for Saturday rearranged games to a Sunday where match fees will still be £8

AOB - the poor quality of the facilities at Vesey has been noted and the committee are following up with SLS, the new service provider.

Next meeting scheduled for 15th January
