Australia tour visit
The Australia touring group who usually bring junior sides in the January are bringing a group of Adults who want to play on Sunday 2nd October 11am - 4pm;
• Looking for serious ladies sides (mix of 1s, 2s & 3s depending on availability) - Becky & Sam to organise
• A 'fun' ladies side (4s, 5s & 6s) - Silvia to organise
• A men's side

Training

Outdoor training times
6pm - 7pm
o Junior development training led by Kath, supported by Dave
o Junior performance training once a month led by Mandy
o Pitch costs to be split between the ladies club and the junior club
o Kath also speaking to Sport Birmingham about helping to fund
o Development goalkeepers in the cage led by Batsford
7pm - 8pm
o Elite squad training (national league / midlands league / aspiring players) on half the pitch with 1st team coach (TBC) and Dudders (second half)
o Club training on half the pitch with Robin, supported by Dave
o Performance goal-keepers in the cage with Dudders (first half)
8pm - 9pm
o Elite training squad will have the whole pitch
o 3s & 4s to train in the cage with Robin

Outdoor season training
• To run from the start of September until end of November
• Restart on Tuesday 17th January
• Training @ Vesey on Tuesday 6th & 13th 6-8pm December to be hosted in the hall
• Training at Vesey on Wednesday 4th & 11th January 8-10pm to be hosted in the hall

Indoor intra-club tournament
• 8-10pm Thursdays from the 15th September for 6 weeks
• 3 teams with 2 teams playing each week on a rotation & the third to supply the umpires / cover for absences
• Outdoor captains to ask 1s, 2s, 3s & 4s for confirmed numbers - aiming for 30 players
• £15 entry

Indoor season training for indoor elite squad still TBC

Club day

1s playing away at Stourport
2s playing a friendly afterwards at 2pm

(10am - 12pm is a back to hockey session)

Half pitches mix & match games @ Vesey
• 11.30pm meet for warm up to be hosted by Sylvia
• 12-2pm games to be organised by captains

Subscriptions

Nuala to put the membership renewal forms on the website & send out to all club members to complete the forms & email them to Sandra or bring them on club day

Kit

Batsford working with Sportology to source a reasonably priced long sleeve training top with the sponsor’s logo from the 125 raffle, aiming to have samples available at club day

Comms

Encourage each team to send through match reports & other pieces of news to go on the website
Nuala to do some pieces on how to use the pitchero website and encouraging people to register
Kath to do some more videos, player challenges!

Fundraising

Sarah to confirm what we have agreed with the Duke Inn

Peter Westbrook has secured sponsorship from Lexus shared between the men's & ladies club

Wolf Run
• Sunday 4th September
• We want to supply 15-20 over 18s to be marshalls & will receive money for doing it
• Captains across the club to ask for volunteers

Joined club

Paul Smith from England Hockey is encouraging us to do this as would give us much greater access to funding
Sue to pick up with Tom Owens (Men's President) on getting a meeting in the diary to try and complete the process
