Passing of a former club stalwart

It is with sadness that we report the death of Roger Waters, former club stalwart and brother of men’s club ex-president Andrew Waters.

Roger played for Sutton until the early 1960s and was a team captain. After his playing career he served as Chairman of the GPC and became an umpire, officiating club games (on grass!) into the 1990s. He was a Vice-President of the Club until he moved from Sutton to Somerset.

Our thoughts and condolences are with Andrew and all of the family.
