The Glebe Centre was chosen by the Ball Committee as our local charity. Homelessness has become an increasing problem in the West Midlands with an increasing spotlight being put on mental health and this charity supports vulnerable adults in Walsall.

Prostate Cancer UK is our national charity choice. Prostate Cancer has recently taken over breast cancer as the third biggest cancer killer in the UK - 11,819 men die each year from the disease which equates to one every forty-five minutes.

We are also pleased to confirm that our compare this year witll be Adam Whitehead. Adam is a Olympic and Commonwealth Games swimmer from Coventry. He has a string of medals including Commonwealth Gold in the 100m breaststroke - won in Manchester in 2002 and European Gold in the 200m breaststroke in 1998.

The ball will be hosted at Aston Wood Golf Club (Blake Street, B74 4EU) starting 7pm until late. Tickets are priced at £35 pp and include a 3 course dinner, awards, DJ and dancing.
