At the recent Sutton Coldfield Sports Awards 2018, the men’s section President and all round club legend Tom Owens was the winner of the Volunteer of the Year category.

Tom was unable to attend the event on the night, so we are delighted that Andy Lane has now been able to present him with his award.

Given all the sterling work that Tom does for the club and has done for many years, we cannot think of a more deserving winner of this prestigious award. Bravo Tom.
