On Saturday 23rd September we are having an umpire training afternoon at Sutton. This is being put on by BCHUA/MRHUA coaches for the benefit of Club umpires.

The format of the afternoon will be as follows:
Meet= Pre-match briefing= Watch 1st Xl match with the coaches= Post-match discussion/pre-match brief= 4 of the umpires to be observed umpiring the 2s and 4s= post-match coaching report

I believe that more than 4 umpires can participate in the coaching session based on the 1st team match but obviously only 2 x 2 can actually umpire.

The timings on the day are such that umpires who also play will not be able to play more than half a game as well as take a full part in the afternoon. Those who do not umpire could play for the 2s or 4s (if selected!) or half of the 5s or 6s match, depending who is on Vesey at 11.30.
