Sutton under 12 boys played in the regional finals on Sunday 19th April at Beeston. The squad included: William Simmons, Dominic Lee, Matty Hubbold, Harrison Wood, Bill Sansome, Sam Lumb, Charles Villanueua, Jacob Higgins, Torin Bird and Patrick Andrews.

The scores were as follows

Sutton 2 – 0 Wednesbury (Sam, Matty)
Sutton 0 – 0 Burton
Sutton 1-1 West Bridgford (Sam)
Sutton 1-1 Leicester (Billy)
Sutton 3-0 Worcester (Matty, Billy and Torin)
Sutton 2-0 Whitchurch (Dominic and Billy)

This meant that Sutton finished second in the group behind Leicester. The Semi Final was against Belper and was incredibly close with Sutton losing 2-0 in the end (we had most of the play and they had one break away and scored and finish with a short corner after the final whistle).

Sutton then drew 0-0 with Beeston to secure joint 3rd place in the middle regional tournament.

Leicester went onto win the tournament. ( a team we had come very close to beating in the group stage)

This was a truly fantastic team performance and something that all the boys and the club should be very proud of.
