This is not only captaining the side on a Saturday, but all the administration that is required by the leagues, collection of match fees, contacting players etc.

Another large part of the role is that each week they meet to discuss availability and players development to ensure players are getting the right opportunities to progress.

One way we can all help make their roles easier is to let them know as early as possible our availability for future weeks, and replying promptly when notified about the next game so they can liaise with the other captains to move players around if necessary.
