4s bag the only point of the day

Can't go up, can't be overtaken...
Sutton 4s ended the season with a 1-1 draw, securring the only point for the men's section on the last day of the season. In stark contrast to a few weeks ago when all sides won, today was a more sobering affair.
The game was a tight one, with Bridgnorth probably deserving all three points as they were the more dominant side. If it were not for David Moss, whose positioning and reading of the game cut out many attacks, Bridgnorth may have had many more chances than they did.
The half time position was 0-0, the same as in the first leg of this fixture but in the second half the pressure eventually told and an unfortunate foot in the D as Sutton attempted to clear the ball resulted in a well taken drag flick past Sutton's keeper.
Sutton could have folded here but instead they upped their game and started to create their own opportunities and it was from a good counter attack that Sam Alcock was fouled in the D and Sutton's skipper stepped up to hammer the ball underneath the visiting keeper.
Truth be told, both sides could have nicked all three points but a share of the spoils was the outcome - Bridgnorth confirming why they are in the top two.
