The O45s took on Guildford and looked in control in the first half, with the Guildford GK making some crucial saves. In a close second half Sutton nearly took the win before the final whistle, but it finished 0-0 and went to penalty flicks. Despite the pressure, the players stayed calm and it was tied after 5 flicks. Sutton scored their sudden death flick and saved Guildford’s, making them National Champions ???

The O35s faced a strong Ben Rhydding side, with Sutton’s journey through to the finals involving two sets of penalty flicks. Despite some pressure from Ben Rhydding, Sutton took the lead with a Vix short corner special! The game continued to be close but luckily Sutton’s corner-scoring continued with goals from Eli and Charlene. Being 3-0 up at half time was the perfect start, but it was far from over knowing the opposition would come out hard and had scored lots of goals this season. That’s what they did, but Sutton stayed strong defensively. A further goal from McCabe, after some lovely individual skill, sealed the 4-0 win and retaining of the Cup for the O35s ???
