9th November was a fantastic league Saturday for the Mighty Pinks as Sutton won 10 out of 10 matches.
L1s continued their excellent start with a 4-2 win away at Wakefield L1 in national league Conference North, including a fine solo goal from MoM Sue Wood (see photo).
M1s extended their unbeaten run and made it 3 wins from 4 with a comprehensive 6-1 win away at Edgbaston M1 who had been 2nd in Midlands 1 prior to the match.
M2 scored 7 goals for the second week running with 7 different scorers against Worcester M2. Newly appointed permanent captain Harry Garvey marked his first game in charge with a clean sheet in goal too.
M3 got back to wining ways with a comfortable 3-1 victory over North Stafford M2.
M4 got their second win of the season away to Telford & Wrekin M3 in a game that had to be moved venue due to a waterlogged pitch.
L5 had a fine away win at Stratford L2 to move above their hosts and into 4th place in Warwickshire division 2.
M5 & M6 battled it out for supremacy in NW3 division with Simon Clark’s 5s beating Chris Ball’s 6s by 3-1 in an exciting match.
M7 kept it tight to win away at Warwick M5 1-0
M8 & M9 played in atrocious weather at Wyndley in their SW4 division clash, Liam Boyce’s team claiming the bragging rights 6-0.
Lions played excellent hockey in their 3-0 win over Wednesbury Badgers.
