We start another morning in the beautiful Wyndley squash courts. Following by the much anticipated fun fact... Did you know there are 106 sheep breeds in the UK? Enya did not, despite growing up on a farm.

First quarter kicked off with a slick transfers from the students, but no outcomes. Em peers takes a nasty knock but in pure mighty pink spirit, gets herself up. Not even Loughborough’s chat can keep her down. A speedy revere into the circle and a short corner is awarded to Loughborough. But their PCA was no match for Amber. A short scramble in the D and unfortunately Loughborough put themselves on the scoresheet. 1-0 to Loughborough.

Onto the second quarter. Some lovely attacking play from Sutton but we get halted by Loughborough’s defence. PCA awarded to the students, a cheeky drag flick from the top. But not outcome. A reverse pass lifted into the back of em peers. It seems these students want to make their mark on the Loughborough alumni. Sutton take the free hit and McCabe sends rocket across the pitch to Beth who looks as if she’s about to take a forehand shot. Little does Loughborough’s keeper know she’s strictly backhand and rockets one into the net (1-1).

Onto the 3rd quarter after some attacking play for Loughborough they are awarded another PCA. They drag out to second castle slip back to 1st castle and slot it bottom right 2-1 to Loughborough . Beth Peers attacks the slide line on her reverse and hits a students foot, she then smashed a ball to the back post, where we just missed out getting someone on the end of it

Onto the final quarter Loughborough get off to a speedy start and end up 1v1 in the D. Penalty flick awarded to Loughborough and they unfortunately got another past Sutton again (3-1). Sutton respond with a short corner won by enya, but Loughborough defend it well. Em peers rockets another ball into the D bouncing off a students foot and very smoothly slotted in by Vicky Woolford (3-2). Loughborough quickly respond with an aerial into the D and into the net (4-2). Slippy pitch for Loughborough as Mollie picks up the ball. She dibbles it St. Trinian style (as if it was actually glued to her stick) into the D and shoots, where McCabe slots it in nicely on the back post (4-3). Loughborough finish their day in the office with a short corner and another slick drag flick from the top makes it 5-3 to the students.
