So who want's to go in goal then? 7th XI Captain Paul Medlicott sums up the season.

After staying up in South West 1 last season the 7XI were moved across to North West 1 division. This Season has been a difficult one, being in a different league and a few key players being out with injuries for over half the season as well as the occasional goal keeper shortage (7 games!).

We had a few outfield players try their hand in goal and players helping out by covering positions that they would not normally play in. Craig Massey managed to get a full house and play in every position on the pitch this season!

Not the highest goal scoring season for us with only 22 goals from 12 different players and Bridgnorth 5th XI giving us an own goal as well making a grand total of 23. But we made up for it for the sheer number of tries and near misses!

We have had a good through put of youngsters/new players come through
the team and with their skills move up the club. My thanks especially go out to Stewart Smith for Captaining on the pitch for the many games I wasn't available, either through work or injury, and as well to Craig Massey and Richard Francis.

Roll on next year, new division, new Captain and new goal opportunities :)
