A very strong showing from the newly promoted 5th XI secured their position in the league for next season.

The 5th team have had a brilliant season after being given the target of staying up, after last season gaining promotion. They went one step better than that and for the majority of the season pushed for promotion again.

However, they missed out after there had been a few changes to the team towards the end of the season, but still managed to finish a very pleasing third in their league.

The whole season has been a real team effort with every player raising their game and giving 110% at every match even with lots of players fluctuating between teams. All of the team have played their part, from the goal keeper through to the forwards and all of the additional players supporting from other squads.

The 5th team have played 18 games, winning 10, drawing 1 and losing
7. 56 goals have been scored by a variety of players and some fantastic saves have been made - not just by the goalie!!

The team should be proud of themselves with being the best-placed team
within the Ladies club! Well done Ladies.
