Welfare
- Thank you to Mike Lax for delivering the annual online Welfare training. If you were not able to attend the live session, please watch the recording and let a member of the welfare team know when you have completed it.
- Captains will ensure first aid kits are fully stocked with spare items available in the Clubhouse.
- SCHC’s Safer Recruitment processes have been reviewed in line with EH guidance. Revised documentation is now being used with all appointments and will be added to the website.
Junior Section
- Thanks to everyone for a great start to Junior training. We have high numbers and lots of coaches/support.
- Once players turn 13 they will be eligible to play senior hockey, however can still play badgers if this is preferable.
- We are still looking for a Juniors fixtures secretary, please speak to a member of the Junior Committee if you would like to know more and are interested in the role.
Senior Section
- Welcome to Hardev Singh Matharu, who has been appointed to the role of Women’s 2s coach.
- Well done to all teams for the start to league matches, especially the Men’s 1-4s who are all unbeaten!
- Good luck to the O45 teams starting their cup competitions this weekend and O35s starting on 9th November.
- The club is entering the EH Mixed Cup Competition. Let your club captain know if you would like to play.
Flyerz
- Flyerz hockey recommences on Wednesdays, 6-7pm indoors at The Royal School, after half term. Please spread the word about this inclusive sport.

Kit
- We are looking for a volunteer to help with the coordination of kit sales. Please contact the committee if you think this could be something you can help with.

- Training sessions are underway for those selected for the 2025/26 Talent Academy sessions.
