We are delighted to announce that Sutton Coldfield HC has achieved ClubMark accreditation. This recognises all the hard work that our volunteers put in to make our club a safe and happy place for all our members

The process was led by club president Martin Hives, ably supported by other club officers, huge thanks to everyone involved

England Hockey’s ClubMark scheme is a tool for clubs to check that they have the basics in place. A hockey club that actively engages in the ClubMark process will ensure happier, better players in a sustainable and vibrant club environment.

The benefits of a hockey club completing ClubMark are both widespread and varied. These include:

• providing a clear focus and vision
• ensuring a safe environment for all club members
• opportunity to grow club membership through adoption of club development plan
• a pre-requisite to becoming an England Hockey accredited talent centre
