Everyone at SCHC would like to express our thanks to Lisa Prince. After six very successful seasons, Lisa is stepping down from her position as Women’s 2nd XI coach. During Lisa’s tenure, the team progressed to their highest ever position in the Midlands Premier Division, and this season achieved their highest points total too, so Lisa is leaving on a real high.
Lisa bought a wealth of experience, both in terms of coaching and playing, having won Olympic Bronze with the GB Hockey Team in 1992. She puts her heart and soul into her coaching, always prepared with detailed notes on the opposition and inspirational pre-match quotes. She also has lots of DoD-worthy moments and is known for her impressive cartwheels!
Lisa’s dedication and commitment have been appreciated by all the players and families she has supported. She will be greatly missed at Sutton, both on and off the pitch, but we look forward to seeing her cheering on the mighty pinks from the sidelines.
As Head Coach of England Women’s O50s Masters, Lisa and her team were gold medal winners in the recent Home Nations tournament, adding to a number of medals achieved with England Masters. We wish Lisa continued successes with her masters coaching.
The Women’s 2s are now looking for a new coach. If you are interested, please contact comms@suttoncoldfieldhc.co.uk and see the advert on the England Hockey website for more details.
