U12 girls traveled to Old Silhs to play Silhs A and B, and Solihull today.
SCHC lost the first game again Silhs A 2-4 but came from behind twice - with Olive in full make up taking on the keeping duties with her sister Isla feeling unwell. Cecilia and Izzy with the Sutton strikes.
Game 2 and Sutton played with greater control, scoring 4 unanswered goals in the first half and a further 2 in the second. Cecilia and Izzy with a brace each, Mary and Teresa completed the scoreline. A clean sheet was down to some great flat stick tackling from Kristan, Vienna and Hannah, backed up by the inpressive Olive in goal.
Game 3 and Sutton took a decent Silhs B team apart, Izzy was instrumental in the midfield, helping herself to anothe goal before providing Cecilia with the chance to add a second. A rare appearance up front from Courtney resulted in Sutton’s third (they all count, if only from a yard!) before the home side pulled one back. Cecilia completed the win with the last play of the game.
Player of the day goes to Olive for stepping up to put the pads on and making some great stops.
